Managing Director, Asset Management
Greg Hayes is the Senior Vice President overseeing the asset management department. With over 16 years of commercial real estate experience in asset management and construction, Mr. Hayes utilizes his extensive background in structured loan portfolio management to manage risk within the ACRES’ loan portfolio across all asset classifications.
Prior to joining ACRES, Mr. Hayes was a Senior Vice President at UC Funds, where he oversaw the asset management team which was responsible for a highly structured $1 billion loan portfolio including all functions of portfolio management, investor relations, servicing, and the complex workouts of troubled loans. He was also a member of the UC Funds senior management team and loan committee which provided underwriting oversite and loan approvals. Prior to UC Funds, Mr. Hayes was with Suffolk Construction, Inc., serving as a project manager and was responsible for the successful management and completion of numerous commercial construction projects totaling over $475 million.
Mr. Hayes holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Organizational Behavior/Management from Brown University.
